Youth Camp Packing List
Students are required to bring enough clothes to last eight days. Remember to pack all essential items marked with an asterisk *. Indianhead Ranch is not responsible for camper’s damaged, misplaced or stolen property.
Permanently label all items. Nowadays it might be cheaper to ship a box before arrival as Continental Airlines charges for the first piece of luggage. Most of them will go back with an extra ice chest with some meat and skin from their trophy...
___ 2 pairs of tennis shoes or walking/hunting shoes
___ 8 pairs of socks
___ 8 pair of underwear
___ 3 pair of jeans or long pants
___ 5 pair of shorts
___ 6 short sleeve shirts /t-shirts /or polo?s (recommend green, khaki, tan or other color suitable for hunting)
___ 2 long sleeve shirts /t-shirts /or polo?s (recommend green, khaki, tan or other color suitable for hunting)
___ 1 pair of sweat pants and sweatshirt
___ 1 light weight jacket or windbreaker ***
___ 1 quality raincoat or poncho
___ 1 swimsuit
___ 1 cap and Sunglasses ***
___ Toiletry articles ( toothbrush, soap, shampoo, etc.) ***
___ Chap stick, sunscreen and insect repellant ***

___ Sleeping Bag *** (Provided to International Students only)
___ 1 pair of binoculars
___ 1 flashlight with spare batteries and bulbs
___ Calling Card or Cell Phone

___ Backpack large enough to pack supplies for one overnight campout

___ Stationary or bound notebook, books
___ Bow/Arrow for Apprentice Advance Campers if you own one (can be shipped prior arrival)
___ Rifle (Hunting Caliber) only for Advance Campers if you own one and want to use it. (Can be shipped
before arrival)
___ Ammunition 8 to 10 boxes. (Only if you bring your own rifle, otherwise ammunition will be supplied at
no additional cost) (Can be shipped before arrival or we can have some ready for your arrival and we
will charge your account).
(Once campers arrive at the ranch, valuables, documents, wallets, and airline tickets will be placed in a personal sealed envelope and kept in the safe)
