Apprentice Hunter Camp Minimize

US $1,195.00 Coed Camps over 1 Week (Sunday pm - Saturday am). The Apprentice camps are for Teenagers between 10* and 17 years of Age WITHOUT a HUNTER SAFETY CERTIFICATION. The 7 Day Camp focuses on the Hunter and Bow Safety Certifications and Include the Hunt for One Management Exotic Doe. This is a one week camp that can be combined with a one week Advance camp if you wanted to stay over two weeks. (*) We are now accepting campers starting at 10 years of Age at Parents discretion, if You feel that your child is ready for an overnight camp and mature enough to safely and respectfully handle firearms and hunting.

Apprentice Camp Requirement PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL at the Indianhead Ranch Camp, Each Student MUST STUDY and Complete the Home Study Course and Quizzes from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Manual via the Texas Parks & Wildlife Website (go to education/hunter education /hunter education online course).

 We will provide you with all the hunting gear (rifles, ammo, shot guns, gps etc). For the Apprentice Camp, You CANNOT ship or bring your own rifle but if you have a Bow that you want to use instead of ours, you are more than welcome to ship it ahead of time. Please download the list of equipment, clothing that we recommend for your week camp at Indianhead Ranch. In the Apprentice Hunter Camp you CANNOT upgrade your trophy. If you already have a Hunter Safety Certification from your Home State, you are not required to obtain it in Texas, it is valid in the State of Texas, so you are elligible to participate in our Advance Camp.

  - Trip to Cave Paintings
  - Prepare for Camp-Out in Canyon
